The Bad Guys

Every story has heroes, but those heroes would not be heroes unless they had something heroic to do. And the bad guys always give them the opportunity to do heroic stuff because when the heroes always are the bad guys never do. So, without further ado, my  favorite villain:

Gollum/Smeagol

Once a river folk creature, Smeagol was banished after finding the One Ring and killing his friend Deagol. He soon became known as Gollum due to a gurgling sound he made in his throat. His one desire was to possess the One Ring after he lost it in the Misty Mountains when a Hobbit by the name of Bilbo Baggins found it and kept it for himself. Many years later Gollum would be Bilbo's nephews guide who now carries the One Ring. In the end Gollum would finally regain his "Precious", but not without great cost.
He is probably the funniest in The Two Towers.
