Sadly all things come to an end. For an end I have chosen one of the most happiest and saddest scenes out of the whole trilogy: The Grey Havens.

Also some of my favorite quotes:

"My dear Sam. You cannot always be torn in two. You will have to be one and whole for many years. You have so much to enjoy and to be and to do. Your part in the story will go on." - Frodo

"Do you remember the shire, Mr. Frodo? It'll be spring soon. And the orchards will be in blossom. And the birds will be nesting in the hazel thicket. And they'll be sowing the summer barley in the lower fields... and eating the first of the strawberries with cream. Do you remember the taste of strawberries?" "No, Sam. I can't recall the taste of food... nor the sound of water... nor the touch of grass. I'm... naked in the dark. There's... There's nothing. No veil between me and the wheel of fire. I can see him... with my waking eyes." "Then let us be rid of it... once and for all. Come on, Mr. Frodo. I can't carry it for you... but I can carry you." -Frodo
and Sam

"Hold your ground, hold your ground! Sons of Gondor, of Rohan my brothers! I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of wolves and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you stand, Men of the West!" - Aragorn.

"I can't do this, Sam."
"I know. It's all wrong. By rights, we shouldn't even be here... but we are. It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come, and when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you, that meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn't. They kept going. Because they were holding on to something."
"What are we holding onto, Sam?"
"There's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo. And it's worth fighting for." - Frodo and Sam.

"I made a promise, Mr Frodo. A promise. "Don't you leave him Samwise Gamgee." And I don't mean to. I don't mean to." - Sam

"I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened."
"So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you were also meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought.
" - Frodo and Gandalf

" Even the smallest person can change the course of the future." - Galadriel

For Frodo. - Aragorn.

And thus it was, the Fourth Age of Middle-earth began, and the Fellowship of the Ring, though eternally bound by friendship and love, was ended. Thirteen months to the day, since Gandalf sent us on our long journey, we found ourselves looking upon a familiar site. We were home. - Frodo

And of course: The music. Its so good

And so now The Lord of the Rings Week has ended. I will not say: do not weep; for not all tears are an evil.

One must always be observant.

Its quite interesting that Théoden likes to put on his armour then take off, Aragorn can't tell if he's right handed or left, barrels appear then disappear, Eómer can't keep an eye on his sword, and did you know that horses can run straight through Uruk-hai?

Elvish and Jokes

The words below are LOTR elvish. Translated they say: "Greetings, this happens to be in the elves language"
"Suilad, si mart an na mii i Quendelie quetil"

I found a whole English to Elvish thing here.
And this is the Elvish alphabet.
And below are some LOTR jokes. (I didn't make these up, I found them)

What did Frodo say when he saw the trees dancing?
"That’s ENT-tertainment!"

What did Frodo say when he saw the elves dancing?
He didn't say anything. They were awful.

What did Frodo say when he saw the dwarves dancing?
"Why the heck is everyone dancing!"

During The Last Alliance of Elves and Men, an elf was captured by an orc. He was injured very badly, and his arm needed to be amputated.
He asked the orc, "Could you send my arm to Mirkwood?"
The orc said he would.
The next day the elf’s other arm had to be amputated, and he asked if it could be sent to Mirkwood, too.The orc agreed.
Then the elf’s leg had to be amputated, and he asked the same thing. The orc agreed to that as well.
But when the elf’s other leg had to be amputated, and he asked thing same to be done with it, the orc got fed up.
"Now hold on," the orc said, "You’re trying to escape, aren’t you?"

The last Alliance of Elves and Men.

One of my favorite bits in the whole trilogy: The Battle of Helms Deep.
Its so intense!!
Logolas vs Uruk-hai
Preparing for battle.

The Rohirrim's great charge

"An Alliance once existed between Elves and Men. Long ago we fought and died together. We come to honor that allegiance."
Arguing over who killed more. Gimli: 43 Legolas: 42

The Bad Guys

Every story has heroes, but those heroes would not be heroes unless they had something heroic to do. And the bad guys always give them the opportunity to do heroic stuff because when the heroes always are the bad guys never do. So, without further ado, my  favorite villain:
Gollum/Smeagol
Once a river folk creature, Smeagol was banished after finding the One Ring and killing his friend Deagol. He soon became known as Gollum due to a gurgling sound he made in his throat. His one desire was to possess the One Ring after he lost it in the Misty Mountains when a Hobbit by the name of Bilbo Baggins found it and kept it for himself. Many years later Gollum would be Bilbo's nephews guide who now carries the One Ring. In the end Gollum would finally regain his "Precious", but not without great cost.
He is probably the funniest in The Two Towers.

Start of the Lord of the Rings week

As of today starts the Lord of the Rings week. For my character I have chosen a person not many people recognise as the hero he is. Most people when they hear the name "Boromir" they instantly think "ahhh he was that guy from Gondor who was weak-minded, hated Aragorn, tried to beat up Frodo and take power and the Ring for himself. But he's not that. He may have thought too much about the Ring and been a bit rash at Aragorn but he was a true hero. He may have been  favorite son but that was his stupid father who should have been taken out of office years ago. And it was him and his brother who kept the border between Gondor and Mordor at a safe distance.
After the fight with Frodo at Amon Hen he then died fighting to defend Merry and Pippin. He fought hard, killing many orcs and uruk-hai until he was killed by three arrows shot by that evil thing Lurtz.
He died defending the fellowship, like he  promised. He died a Hero.

The following video does have violence and there is a bit of blood.

This is the following scene after Aragorn kills Lurtz but it would not give me the HTML.
